Liquid Investments

The three objectives of liquid investments are: returns, stability and liquidity. All three of them are in accordance with our general goals of positively contributing to the environment and society. We invest in a broad range of quoted financial instruments, including market-listed stocks, bonds, and specialised funds. In doing so, we strive for a balance between the preservation of capital and an attractive return.

To ensure that our investments agree with our values (sustainability and social responsibility), our 3P philosophy and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations are guiding us in the selection process of financial instruments. We only include sectors or companies that are aligned with our values and criterias.

At the moment, Korys is investing in four funds:

  • Galateia is our flexible multi-asset fund launched in 2009. It offers investors consistent returns while preserving capital thanks to its defensive risk profile. Galateia invests worldwide in all major asset classes in line with our 3P philosophy. Galateia invests mostly through thoroughly selected third party equity and fixed income funds and a selected list of companies, leveraging our in-house equity research expertise.
  • Naiades is a pure equity fund investing globally in large capitalisation companies that offer products and services that enable a more sustainable future. Naiades considers both WHAT companies do (UN SDGs) and HOW they do it (ESG), in line with our 3P Philosophy, the cornerstone of our investment strategy. Naiades has a strong track-record delivering a competitive return since inception thanks to its fundamental bottom-up research-driven investment approach.
  • The Family Business Fund invests in a number of listed European family owned companies. When does a company qualify as a ‘family company’?
  • When a family or group of families controls at least 20% of the capital.
  • The family is represented in the management committee or the Board of Directors. The fund is actively managed (no benchmarks) and will hold approximately 50 high conviction ideas. All investments need to be compliant with our ESG screening process.
  • The Hidden Champions Fund invests in a number of listed European companies that are best described as ‘hidden gems’. They are highly successful companies that are not likely to be in the spotlight, but that are global market leaders in their sectors. They are mostly small caps with unique (innovative) products in well-defined niches. They stand out, worldwide, thanks to their quality rather than low prices.  We invest only in companies whose products or services contribute positively to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. The fund is actively managed (no benchmarks) and will hold approximately 50 high conviction ideas. All investments need to be compliant with our ESG screening process.
